Always here for our clients: Jennifer McHenry, Senior Organizational Change Manager

Jennifer McHenry has always worked closely with our clients. It’s central to her day-to-day work as a Senior Organizational Change Manager. Her role is to ensure our clients’ successful adoption of our solutions and she works directly with them during the onboarding process. They rely on her, so her role is of huge importance to them and to us – and that’s why she needs to give her best, 100% of the time.  

With thirteen years so far at the Cloud Communications division of NTT Ltd., Jennifer tells us more about her motivation, her job, and the evolution of both her career path and the company.     

Q. You have worked for the Cloud Communications division of NTT Ltd. since 2007. Over the years, you must have seen the company evolve a great deal. What would you say has been the most impactful change?  

This company has evolved a huge amount in the past 13 years! When I started, we were selling audio conferencing, a little web conferencing and events. To see how much we have evolved and stayed a leader in this industry has been so exciting. I love where we are in the marketplace today. We are changing the way companies collaborate.

Q. In your video you note that you began in Sales, then moved to Operations, then moved again to Change Management & Adoption. Was this path always what you had in mind? 

When I first started, I wasn’t sure where my career would take me. But this journey has been amazing. I began with the company when it was very new, so have been able to navigate to different parts of the business and really learn how it works from every angle. It’s also allowed me to appreciate how hard each part of the organization works every day.

Q. Have you always been interested in working with clients? 

I love working with them. They are what make our business successful and I genuinely enjoy helping them evolve their business, achieve their ROI and contribute, in some way, to the happiness of their employees.

Q. With the constant evolution of the communications sector, how do you and your team handle the challenge this presents? 

It can be quite a challenge, but it is also the most exciting part of the business. As a team, we are constantly learning, and our roles are evolving due to the way the technology progresses. Our role is never the same year after year, so we are constantly growing, learning, and developing our knowledge.

Q. Do you have any advice for someone who wants a career in organizational change?  

My advice would be to work hard, understand the business and enjoy working with people. This role is fun, but you must be able to work hard and always be ready to learn something new and embrace it!
