Ever since last April, we’ve been announcing our Values Employee of the Month. This program, you’ll remember, recognizes employees who go above and beyond typical job expectations to provide outstanding customer service, or who perform distinctive achievements that positively impact our company. In a nutshell, it’s about those special Arkadians who “go the extra mile”.
This week, we’re pleased to announce the Values Employees of the Month for July! Join us in congratulating Auxiliadora Delgado, Head of Customer Care based in Madrid (EMEA).
This isn’t Auxiliadora’s first nomination – or even her first win! In fact, she was previously nominated both as an individual and as part of a team – and won the Values Global Award with her team in 2015!
Here are a few of the reasons Arkadians mentioned when they nominated Auxiliadora as July’s Values Employee of the Month:
- The customer care team is subject to constant changes due to internal and external influences. Over the last few years, like a true ship’s captain, Auxiliadora always had her hand on the rudder, finding the right tide and wind direction to keep on sailing with her crew.
- She always has a positive attitude, even when the going gets rough.
- Auxiliadora isn’t just a local captain; she’s also one of Arkadin’s agents. She isn’t afraid to keep an eye out for tough cases, then pick up the phone to plunge in and assist the rest of the team.
- She helped centralize the formerly local customer support services into a single spot for the whole EMEA region.
Asked about how she lives Arkadin’s values, Auxiliadora talks about the importance of teamwork, enjoyment, and respect, of course – but her entrepreneurial spirit really stands out: “We are always willing to pursue new challenges – so we never get bored!”
